Our Macerated Sambuca Infused Berries topped with Fresh Whipped Cream
Sambuca (Italian pronunciation: [samˈbuːka]) is an Italian anise-flavoured, usually colourless, liqueur
The term comes from the Latin word sambucus, meaning "elderberry". The word sambuca was first used as the name of another elderberry liquor that was created in Civitavecchia around 1850 by Luigi Manzi
Ingredients:
2 Lb. Large Fresh Strawberries, rinsed stem cut off and sliced
2 Lb. Fresh Blueberries, rinsed
4 Oz. Organic Granulated Sugar
4 Oz. Sambuca Italian anise-flavoured liqueur
4 Cups Fresh Whipped Cream
4 Large Mint Leaves for garnish
Method:
Place Berries, Sugar and Liqueur in a large bowl and mix well
Place in your refrigerator over night
Spoon mixture assuring to spoon liquid as well into a Martini glass or something similar
Spoon Fresh whip cream over Berries
Garnish with Mint Leaf
